WEED CONTROL
The Lincoln Township Trustee is responsible for managing rank vegetation/overgrown lawns and destroying detrimental plants/noxious weeds within the township.
Rank Vegetation/Overgrown Lawns
Rank Vegetation is defined as vegetation in residential areas that is 12 inches or taller. The Trustee can enforce owners of neglected lawns to maintain their property or it will be cut/maintained by the Trustee and billed with fees.
Detrimental Plants/Noxious Weeds
Noxious weeds are any species of plant which is, or likely to be, detrimental or destructive and difficult to control or eradicate. Noxious weeds have been determined by a federal, state or county government to be injurious to public health, agriculture, recreation, wildlife, or any public or private property. All noxious weeds are, or have the capacity to be, extremely invasive.

Use this form to report detrimental plants, noxious weeds or rank vegetation over 12 inches tall. Please include a specific address including nearest intersection. All complaints must be submitted in writing by using the form or mailing to our office.
